Outcome summary
At a review hearing on 24 June 2026, the Interim Orders Committee revoked the conditions previously imposed on Mr Wafula's registration and imposed a suspension for the remainder of the 12 month order. The order was originally imposed on 27 February 2023 for a period of 18 months. On 5 August 2024 the High Court extended the order for 12 months. On 26 August 2025, the High Court extended the order for a further 12 months. This interim order is due to expire on 26 August 2026, and the GDC will be applying to the High Court for a further extension of it. In the event that such an application is granted, the order will be reviewed in accordance with the GDC's statutory requirements.
