Gregory Heath

Greg Heath graduated from Leeds University in 1986 and joined the Royal Army Dental Corps. He gained an MSc in Periodontology from the Eastman Dental Institute in 1999. His career has been primarily as a general dental practitioner and holds the Membership in General Dental Surgery from the RCS in Ireland and Fellowship of the Faculty. He has been extensively involved in dental education and Dental Foundation Training and was also formerly Postgraduate Dental Dean for the Armed Forces.  He holds a Diploma in Medical Education from the University of Dundee. After a career in a range of posts and locations he retired from the Army in 2018 and became a full time Civilian Dental Practitioner for Defence Primary Healthcare. In this role he also occasionally acts as an Adviser to the CQC for their inspection of Defence dental practices only.  He is also an examiner for the Licence in Dental Surgery, RCS England, and Overseas Registration Examination.
