Sarah Redmond

Sarah Redmond has practised as a Social Worker for 20 years specialising in mental health and safeguarding children. For the past 5 years Sarah has worked as a Registrant Adjudicator for Social Work England sitting on Fitness to Practise hearings and through this work has developed an interest in professional regulation. Sarah also sits as a lay Specialist Member at First Tier Tribunals for the Mental Health Tribunal Service. Sarah has worked for the Local Authority since qualifying as Social Worker in 2004 and remains in practice. Sarah completed her professional qualifications at Keele University and has studied at a post-graduate level at the University of Birmingham in the area of mental health and the use of formal admission arrangements to hospital under the Mental Health Act.
