Smita Rajani

Smita is a highly experienced general dental practitioner who qualified from Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital in 1993. With nearly three decades of clinical practice, she has built a strong reputation in both mixed dental settings and community dental services, delivering patient-centred care across a broad spectrum of dental treatments.

Her commitment to professional development led her to complete a Diploma in Leadership and Management and a Master’s degree in Dental Law and Ethics in 2017. These qualifications have further enhanced her ability to navigate the evolving landscape of dental care, governance, and clinical decision-making.

Since 2016, Smita has held the position of Dental Clinical Advisor for NHS England, supporting service improvement and clinical governance across the Midlands and East of England. In addition to this role, she serves as a clinical member of the Buckinghamshire Local Dental Network (LDN), contributing to local strategy and service planning.

Smita brings a comprehensive understanding of clinical dentistry, strong leadership skills, and a deep commitment to ethical practice and patient welfare.
