Rose Mary Thomas
Rose qualified with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, India, in 2000. Following her relocation to the United Kingdom, she registered with the General Dental Council (GDC) and successfully completed Vocational Training Equivalency. Since then, she has gained extensive experience working in general dental practice.
She has obtained membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery, Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow (MFDS RCPS), membership of the Joint Dental Faculty, Royal College of Surgeons of England (MJDF RCS Eng) as well as membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery, Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (MFDS RCS Edin). Rose has completed MSc in Endodontology with distinction from the University of Central Lancashire in 2016. She is also a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA). Since 2017, she works as a Senior Clinical Teacher at the University of Central Lancashire, contributing to both undergraduate and postgraduate dental education. Rose has a special interest in Endodontics and practices part-time in a mixed dental practice in Blackpool, which she co-owns with her husband, who is also a dentist. In addition to her clinical and academic roles, Rose has served as a Clinical Advisor and Expert Witness for the General Dental Council.
