Jayne Hidderley

Jayne Hidderley is a Solicitor with over 30 years’ experience. She specialised primarily in global pensions and employment law. She has also worked as a disputes examiner for the Housing Ombudsman Service.

She has been a trustee and chair of the lay group of the Royal College of Emergency Medicine, lay member of the Academy of Medical Royal Colleges junior doctors’ group and is the co-Vice Chair of the PatientVoices committee of the Royal College of Anaesthetists.

Jayne sits as an independent member of the Patient and Public Voice Assurance Group which is part of NHS England specialised commissioning governance structure for specialised services. Previously she sat as a member of this group representing the national programme of care which oversees the commissioning of specialised and highly specialised trauma services.

She is a lay assessor with the Royal College of Physicians, evaluating clinical services against nationally agreed standards. She is a lay assessor for the Academy of Healthcare Science; she chairs interview panels for applicants applying for registration with the Health Care Professions Council
