Victoria Buller

Victoria began her career working in General Dental Practice before developing her interest in dental education. She has worked in a variety of educational settings including Health Education North West, Further and Higher Education. She joined the University of Central Lancashire in 2012 following her role as Education Programme Manager for Cumbria and Lancashire at the North Western Deanery where she developed an interest in Interprofessional education. Victoria has been involved in external activity including being secretary for East Lancashire Local Dental Committee and an Educational Associate with the General Dental Council between 2018 and 2022.

As Deputy Associate Dean in the School of Medicine and Dentistry, Victoria is a member of the School's Senior Leadership Team, leading on apprenticeship provision. In this role, she is responsible for strategically developing apprenticeship provision in the School, aligned to workforce development priorities and working within the wider University Apprenticeship Governance Structure. She works with employers and external stakeholders to foster a collaborative approach to apprenticeship development and delivery and has school strategic responsibility of apprenticeship compliance eg University, Regulatory Bodies, OFSTED, ESFA, Skills England. Victoria also has a lead role on quality assurance in the school. Victoria completed her PhD in 2019
