Anthony Mole

Anthony Mole served as a police officer for 30 years as an investigator leading teams of detectives and specialist services for major incidents, serious and organised crime and terrorism. He retired as the Head of the North West Counter Terrorism Unit in 2017. Anthony provides independent expertise overseas delivering strategic advice and mentoring in relation to leadership, organisational change, counter terrorism strategies and intelligence/threat assessment strategies. Deployments include BiH, North Africa, East Africa and Jordan. He also acted as a professional witness for the Coroner for the Inquest into the 1974 Birmingham bombings and is a member of the Independent Advisory Group for the Emergency Services Communication Platform. Anthony is a lay chair for the Nursing and Midwifery Council and sits on Misconduct and Competence hearings. He has a degree in Law (Bachelor of Laws 2004 University of Central Lancashire). He is also a member of the International Leadership in Counter Terrorism Group (LinCT) and a graduate of the 2014 international programme.
