Joshua Kelly

Joshua graduated from Cardiff University in 2014 with a Bsc (Hons) in Dental Hygiene & Therapy, having been commended for his interpersonal skills with the “Tepe Communicator” award as an undergraduate. Since then he has been providing treatment using the full scope of his practice in South Wales within both the private sector and national health service.

Outside of his clinical obligations, Joshua has helped spearhead the “Baby Teeth DO Matter” public health campaign within his local welsh health board, working alongside health visitors in General Medical Practice to provide essential preventative paediatric oral hygiene and diet advice to new parents. Joshua also voluntarily re-deployed within the NHS during the COVID-19 pandemic; working to verify deaths in the community whilst offering emotional and administrative support to the bereaved family members throughout this distressful time.
