Andy Skelton

​Andy Skelton is currently self-employed and works in a number of areas of healthcare regulation and governance. He works as a Mental Health Act Commissioner and is an expert lay member of the First Tier Tribunal (Mental Health). Andy is a nurse by background, and worked in the NHS for many years. During this time, he fulfilled clinical, managerial and corporate roles. He has worked for a number of NHS Trusts and towards the end of his time in the NHS he was responsible for nursing standards, clinical quality, risk management, and other aspects of clinical governance.
